At Henry Davis Post #161, good food, cold drinks, and genuine conversation are the foundation of everything we do. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or settling in for the evening, you've found your place.
Our Story
Henry Davis Post #161 has been a fixture in Rushville for generations. What started as a gathering place for veterans has grown into something bigger: the heart of our community.
Today, we serve hearty meals, pour cold drinks, and host events that bring people together — veterans, families, neighbors, and anyone who values a warm welcome and a space that feels like home.
We honor the traditions that built us while keeping our doors open to everyone who walks through them. That's the Post #161 way.
Comfort food done right — from breakfast specials to hearty dinners. Fresh, filling, and made with care every single day.
A well-stocked bar with your favorites — domestic and craft beers, cocktails, and cold drinks ready whenever you are.
From veteran gatherings and fundraisers to social nights and local celebrations — there's always something happening at the Post.
Reunions, birthday parties, meetings, or a quiet night in — we can accommodate your group with a space that feels right.
